Balochistan Government has decided to provide flour and other edible items to the people in all the districts of the province on subsidized rates.

The decision to this effect was made by Price Control Committee which met in Quetta today with Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo in the chair.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister has taken stern notice of self-imposed increase in food prices in the province.

He directed the concerned authorities to take strict action against the profiteers and stockists.

He also advised to ensure provision of quality food items at fixed rates to the people during the holy month.

The Chief Minister also instructed the administration of all the districts to take steps to maintain the prices and establishment of Sasta Bazaars in their respective districts.
