In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference leadership has appealed to the United Nations and international human rights organizations to stop India from killing innocent youth in fake encounters under a wicked plan.
In their statements in Srinagar, APHC leaders including Syed Bashir Andrabi and Ghulam Nabi Fai expressed concern over shifting of dozens of illegally detained youth from occupied Jammu and Kashmir to far-off jails inside India.
The People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration at a meeting in Jammu decided to set up a committee to chalk out the future strategy on the inclusion of non-locals in the electoral rolls of Jammu and Kashmir. This was stated by Alliance’s chairman Farooq Abdullah while talking to the media at his residence in Jammu after the meeting. Peoples Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti, among others, also attended the meeting.
In a statement issued in Srinagar, the National Conference vice president, Omar Abdullah said that his party would continue fighting for restoration of Jammu and Kashmir’s special status.
Meanwhile, AFP news agency has exposed baseless propaganda launched by Indian media against Pakistan at the behest of Modi government. AFP said in its report that a video being circulated of Hindu Woman in Hindi-language social media posts is about a land dispute in Pakistan.
