Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has directed authorities concerned to formulate a comprehensive system to address the issues faced by the college teachers.

He gave these directions during a meeting with the teaching staff of Government Fatima Jinnah College, Chunna Mandi in Lahore.

On the directives of Chief Minister, a committee has been constituted, which will present viable suggestions to resolve the issues of teachers within fourteen days.

Reiterating his commitment to end the menace of drug’ culture in educational institutions of province, the Chief Minister stressed teachers to play their due role to impart awareness among students and parents about the adverse impacts of narcotics in society.

Expressing resolve to deal the elements involved in the business of drugs in educational institutions with iron hands, Chaudhary Parvez Elahi vowed to establish an autonomous institution to end the scourge of narcotics in the province.
