Minister of State for Petroleum Musadik Malik says the government is devising a strategy to ensure uninterrupted gas supply to those industries which have no alternate means to continue their functioning.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Monday, he said centres of gas supply companies are being set up in tail end areas of the country where gas supply is very low.

The Minister of State also appealed to the people to minimize their dependence on gas and use alternate sources of energy where they can.

About the political situation of the country, he said everyone should respect legal decisions and PTI Chairman Imran Khan who is habitual of targeting state institutions should also abide by decisions as he used to demand from other parties’ leaders when they were prosecuted.

Musadik Malik said we should avoid politics of confrontation and join hands for the good of our people.
