Pakistan People’s Party leader and Federal Minister Shazia Marri says political stability is inevitable for economic stability of the country.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad today, alongside Minister of State Faisal Karim Kundi, she said Pakistan People’s Party started political dialogue with all parties and took them on-board and all the parties including PTI agreed on simultaneous holding of elections across the country.

Shazia Marri appreciated PTI’s participation in dialogue but lamented that this effort for political reconciliation is being marred by intransigence of PTI chief Imran Khan.

She said Constitution cannot be staked at the whims of an individual as the country cannot afford any more political chaos. She urged Imran Khan to stop using institutions for his political gains.

On the occasion, Fasial Karim Kundi said the coalition government is fully focused on development of the country.

He said the PTI chief should not undermine democracy.
