Over 42000 Pakistani Hajj pilgrims under government scheme have completed the Ziarat of sacred religious places in Madinah.

Radio Pakistan’s special correspondent Javed Iqbal reports that until now more than 46000 Pakistani pilgrims under the government scheme arrived in Saudi Arabia.

Out of these 16000 are staying in Madinah while others have been accommodated in Makkah Mukarmah.

Pilgrims under private hajj scheme are also arriving in the holy cities with a total presence of 3000 in Makkah and Madinah till date.

It is worth mentioning that the annual pilgrimage in Makkah is believed to be the world’s largest gathering of its kind, with over three million Muslims attending this year from across the globe.
