Pakistan Governance Forum (PGF) 2023 has called for immediate implementation of Stable, Transparent, Agile and Responsible governance system in the country.
The call was made through a resolution adopted today at the conclusion of a two-day forum organized by Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives in Islamabad.
The resolution emphasized that continuity of inclusive, consultative, and evidence-based policies is inevitable for stability.
It also called for collaborative working relations between all organs of the state including the Legislature, Executive, Judiciary, Federal, Provincial, and Local tiers of government.
The resolution stressed on efforts to forge consensus among all stakeholders on issues of national interest.
The two-day event aimed at developing a governance framework that embodies the principles of STAR.
Representatives from academia, civil society, political leaders and experts attended the forum and highlighted crucial aspects of governance.
