Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has stressed the need for joint ventures between Pakistan and Uzbekistan in agriculture sector to increase yield of cotton crop.

He was talking to Uzbekistan’s Agriculture Minister Dr Aziz Voitov in Tashkent on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said Uzbekistan is one of the top cotton producing countries in the region and Pakistan is keen to learn from its experience to increase cotton production.

He said Pakistan’s political and military leadership is committed for sustainable development of agriculture.
