Preparation for Independence Day celebrations are in full swing in Khushab district. Buildings are being decorated with large national flags and lights . Stalls are selling different Independence Day related items were found surrounded by youngsters who are eagerly waiting for the Independence Day celebrations and such stalls have been set up at several markets and footpaths .
Many shops, vehicles and motorcycles on road could be seen decorated with green and white colours while families have covered rooftops of their cars with national flags. Meanwhile , a function in connection with Independence Day celebrations was organized by District Industrial Home Khushab . Deputy Commissioner Khushab Zeeshan Shabbir Rana was chief guest on the occasion while ADCG Khushab Ahmad Sohaib and Deputy Director Social Welfare Malik Imtiaz Ahmad Mangat also graced the ceremony . Manager DIH Ume- e Farwa Hamdani presided over it. A large number of teachers and students were also present on the occasion .
