Pakistan People’s Party delegation held consultations with Election Commission of Pakistan in Islamabad on Tuesday to deliberate upon general elections schedule and delimitations.
During the consultations, various proposals were discussed as per constitution to make electoral process more transparent.
Later talking to media, PPP leaders Sherry Rehman, Syed Naveed Qamar, Murad Ali Shah and Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari said their party rendered sacrifices for supremacy of the Constitution and democracy.
They said the Constitution must be followed regarding holding of elections.
They also called for conducting general elections on time as per constitution.
