Caretaker Minister for National Health Services Dr. Nadeem Jan has said five hundred basic health units will be revamped across the country in two months.
Addressing an event on the occasion of World Diabetes Day, in Islamabad today, he said this will be done without incurring a single penny from the government exchequer.
He said it will also be ensured to spread awareness about prevention of non-communicable diseases such as diabetes. He stressed that every segment of the society including the media and religious scholars will have play their part in it.
