Israeli occupation forces today stormed Gaza’s largest hospital blowing out its doors and partition threatening the lives of thousands of ailing and sheltering civilians in the building.

According to media, before the assault the hospital Internet services and power supplies were disconnected and journalists present in and near the building were arrested by Israeli soldiers.

In a statement, Hamas said it holds Israel and the United States fully responsible for the occupation army’s raid on Al-Shifa medical complex.

The United Nations said at least 2,300 patients, staff and displaced civilians are inside the facility, trapped by days of Israeli bombardments and missile strikes.

Meanwhile, UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell has said that majority of over one million children are trapped under the rubble of collapsed buildings.

In a statement, more than 4,600 children have been killed, with nearly 9,000 injured while many children are missing and believed buried under the rubble of collapsed buildings.
