All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has expressed concern over plight of illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists languishing in notorious jails of India and occupied Jammu and Kashmir for the past many years.

In a statement in Srinagar, the APHC spokesman denounced the arbitrary arrests of Kashmiris as the worst example of political vendetta saying such repressive policies are aimed at changing the freedom narrative of Kashmir, a dream of Indian regime since 1947.

He urged United Nations to take notice of the plight of Kashmiri political prisoners lodged in death cells without medical care and basic amenities of life.
