
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Syed Tariq Fatemi held important meetings with key leaders of the US Congress in the United States.
The Special Assistant met with Chairman of the US Congressional Committee on Foreign Affairs Brian Mast, Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on South and Central Asia on Foreign Affairs Committee Sydney Kamlager-Dove, and Co-Chairmen of the Pakistan Caucus in the US Congress Jack Bergman and Tom Suozzi.
During the talks, discussions focused on Pak-US bilateral cooperation and economic relations.
The Special Assistant briefed the US leaders on government policies, especially the economic priorities.
He said that promoting bilateral relations, especially in the areas of trade, economy and investment, is among the top priorities of the government.
Regional and international issues were also discussed during the meetings.
