Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir says any obstacle hindering the country’s development will be crushed unitedly.
Addressing the first Overseas Pakistanis Convention in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said Allah has blessed Pakistan with immense resources.
The Army Chief said as long as the brave people of this country stand with the Pakistan Army, the army can easily overcome every challenge.
He debunked the illusions of enemies that a handful of terrorists can decide the fate of Pakistan and categorically stated that not even ten generations of terrorists can harm either Balochistan or Pakistan.
General Syed Asim Munir said Pakistan’s journey of development continues and the question is not when Pakistan will get developed, but the question is how fast Pakistan develops.
He said overseas Pakistanis are not only the ambassadors of Pakistan, but also the country’s radiant light that reflects across the globe.
He said he is deeply moved by the sentiments of overseas Pakistanis today and his sentiments for them are even stronger.
The Army Chief asked the overseas Pakistanis to remember that whichever country they are in, their legacy is from a high society, ideology and civilization.
He asked the overseas Pakistanis to always hold their head high with pride, because they do not belong to any ordinary country, but are representatives of a great and powerful country.
The Army Chief said those who create the narrative of brain drain should know that this is not brain drain but brain gain and overseas Pakistanis are the best example of it.
He said as Muslims and Pakistanis, we are not afraid of adverse situations, we have never bowed down in the face of difficulties.
The Army Chief said the nation holds in reverence the sacrifices of its martyrs. He said we want to achieve for Pakistan the glory that Quaid-e-Azam had dreamed of.
He reiterated the resolve that Kashmir was, is and will always remain the jugular vein of Pakistan.
Expressing solidarity with the Muslims of Gaza, the Army Chief said the hearts of Pakistanis always beat with the Muslims of Gaza.
