
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to expanding its international partnerships during separate meetings with UK Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State Lord Wajid Khan and Hungarian Ambassador Béla Fazekas in Islamabad.
In his meeting with Lord Wajid Khan, Ishaq Dar emphasized Pakistan’s resolve to build a strong, broad-based, and multifaceted partnership with the United Kingdom. He also appreciated the British Pakistani community’s significant role in promoting goodwill between the two nations. Lord Khan, in turn, acknowledged the Pakistani government’s economic reforms and praised their positive impact on the country’s economic stability. Both sides discussed a range of issues of mutual interest.

In a separate meeting, Hungarian Ambassador Béla Fazekas and the Deputy Prime Minister expressed a shared interest in enhancing bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Hungary. They also welcomed the upcoming visit of Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Péter Szijjártó, as an opportunity to further deepen economic and diplomatic ties.
Both meetings underscored Pakistan’s proactive diplomatic outreach and its commitment to strengthening international cooperation across multiple fronts.
