
The first Deputy Minister for Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan, Jamshed Shoimzoda has said that CASA-1000 power transmission line project between Pakistan and Tajikistan will be completed by December next year.
Talking to the APP in Dushanbe, he said this project will be operationalized by January 2027.
Tajik Minister said that the transmission capacity of the CASA-1000 energy project will be 1,300 megawatts, which will be an energy link between Tajikistan, Pakistan, and Afghanistan to provide clean energy to regional countries.
He said CASA-1000 project will help meet Pakistan’s energy needs and enhance bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.
