President Asif Ali Zardari has stressed the need for promoting trade, investment and people to people contacts between Pakistan and Czech Republic.
He was talking to Pakistan’s Ambassadors-designate to Czech Republic, Shehryar Akbar Khan, who called on him in Islamabad on Friday.
The President said the Czech Republic is an important partner of Pakistan in Europe. He also emphasized promotion of exchanges of parliamentary and cultural delegations between Pakistan and Czech Republic.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Ambassador-designate to Ukraine Major General (Retd) Kunwar Adnan Ahmed Khan, also called on President Asif Ali Zardari.
Speaking on the occasion, the President said Pakistan desires to further enhance the mutually beneficial cooperation with Ukraine.
He instructed the envoy-designated to play his due role in promoting economic, trade, and cultural relations between Pakistan and Ukraine.
