Punjab Disaster Management Authority says water flow in the rivers is increasing due to monsoon rains and glacier melting.

The spokesperson informed that there is a low-level flood in the Indus River at Tarbela and Chashma while a moderate-level flood is being reported at Kalabagh.

Meanwhile, flow of water in the Ravi, Chenab, Jhelum, and Sutlej rivers remains at normal levels. The water flow in the hill torrents of Dera Ghazi Khan is normal.

DG PDMA Irfan Ali Kathia has directed the administrations of relevant districts to remain on alert.
