Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has once again expressed his readiness to facilitate dialogue between the government and the opposition.
Responding to the remarks of Mahmood Khan Achakzai in the National Assembly today, the Speaker said his offer should be accepted, emphasizing that the only way forward is by sitting together. He also recalled that the Prime Minister has repeatedly invited the opposition for dialogue.
Meanwhile, the House is continuing discussion on the 27th Constitutional Amendment.
At the outset, the Chair strongly condemned the terrorist acts in Islamabad and Wana. He commended the resolve of state institutions in the war against terrorism.
Later, the House offered fateha for those who embraced martyrdom in the acts of terrorism.
