
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that police stations equipped with modern technology are being established to make policing system more public friendly.
He made the remarks during his visit to newly constructed and under-construction police stations in Islamabad.
The Interior Minister said Islamabad’s policing system will be brought at par with international standards through the use of modern infrastructure and technology.
He reviewed the modern facilities provided in the new building of Kohsar Police Station. He instructed that more facilities be provided for the convenience of visitors at Kohsar Police Station.
The Interior Minister said public facilities in the newly constructed police stations should be further improved to promote modern policing.
Mohsin Naqvi directed the swift completion of the Women Police Station in G-6, assuring that necessary resources will be provided on a priority basis to complete the project.
