Under the open-door policy of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Deputy Commissioner Khushab Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Labar held an open court to listen to public grievances and issued on-the-spot directions to the relevant departments for their immediate resolution.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Abdullah Khan was also present on the occasion, along with the applicants and citizens who had come to present their concerns.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Labar stated that the doors of the DC Office are always open to the public. He encouraged citizens to present their issues without hesitation, adding that resolving public complaints on a priority basis is the foremost responsibility of the district administration.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the Assistant Commissioner Khushab and officers of the concerned departments that no obstacle in addressing citizens’ problems would be tolerated. He further instructed the relevant officials to submit compliance reports on the applications submitted by the complainants.
He emphasized that resolving public issues remains the top priority and that negligence, delay, or inefficiency in government departments will not be tolerated under any circumstances. All departments have been directed to perform their duties with a true spirit of public service.
