Minister for Railways, Muhammad Hanif Abbasi has said Pakistan Railways is actively working to achieve the targets by opening new avenues for private sector participation in infrastructure development, freight services and commercial ventures.
He was talking to the Chairperson of Nishat Group, Mian Muhammad Mansha in Lahore today.
The Minister emphasized that these initiatives are aimed at strengthening the financial sustainability of Pakistan Railways while simultaneously contributing to national economic growth.
Speaking on the occasion, Mian Muhammad Mansha evinced interest to invest in Pakistan Railways and assured that the Nishat Group would explore concrete opportunities for collaboration with Pakistan Railways.
