Chief Organizer of Literary and Sports Activities District Khushab, Malik Abdul Ghafoor Asif Burana, while highlighting the importance of World Sports Day, stated that sports are a hallmark of any civilized and developed society. He said that sports not only improve physical health but also promote discipline, tolerance, teamwork, and a positive mindset among youth. He expressed these views during a special conversation with the media.
He further said that in the present era, promoting sports is essential to keep the younger generation away from negative activities. Sports help relieve mental stress and play a vital role in adopting a healthy lifestyle. He emphasized that sports activities should be made a mandatory part of educational institutions to ensure the holistic development of students.
Malik Abdul Ghafoor Asif Burana added that the authorities should take concrete steps to develop playgrounds, provide modern facilities, and bring forward hidden talent. He expressed his commitment to taking all possible measures to promote sports in District Khushab and to encourage youth towards positive activities.
