Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said Pakistan desires to transform bilateral relations with Iran into a strong economic and trade partnership.

Talking to the Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on the sidelines of the third Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Afghanistan’s Neighboring Countries in China, he stressed for early meeting of Pakistan-Iran Joint Economic Commission.

The Foreign Minister noted that relations between the two countries are deep rooted in common faith, culture and history.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi thanked the Iranian leadership’s consistent and unwavering stance on Kashmir dispute.
