Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the government is committed to facilitate information technology and telecom sector for its expansion and growth to achieve five billion dollars export target in a year.

Chairing a meeting of IT Task Force in Islamabad on Thursday, he said, the government would extend its full support through a comprehensive package to address the problems to make it a robust sector of the country.  

He said the plans are underway to strengthen the working of IT training and incubation centers, telcos, sovereign technology parks, software houses and freelancing for exponential growth.
