Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that an investment conference will be convened to enhance cooperation between Pakistan and Scotland in diverse fields, including trade, investment, education, water management, wind, and solar technology.
He was talking to the media after having a meeting with First Minister of Scotland Humza Yousaf in London on Sunday.
Shehbaz Sharif said he held a productive conversation with Hamza Yousaf, who is a young and energetic person. He said we have agreed to enhance cooperation between Pakistan and Scotland, which is a constituent component of the United Kingdom. He said around 80,000 Pakistani diaspora is significantly contributing to the development and progress of Scotland.
Replying to a question regarding his clearance by UK’s National Crime Agency in a money laundering case, the Prime Minister said NCA investigated this matter for two years, and with the blessing of Almighty Allah, he emerged innocent in this frivolous. He said former Prime Minister Imran Khan used all tactics and wasted state money as well as precious time to defame me. He said NCA found nothing against him and now the British investigation agency has given him a clean chit in this matter.
Shehbaz Sharif said Imran Khan is a fraud and cunning, habitual in harming his own benefactors.
