Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Azam Khan said the government is taking all possible steps to protect the life and property of the religious minorities.

Talking to a delegation of Sikh community in Peshawar on Tuesday, he said targeting minorities is aimed at disrupting religious harmony and destabilizing the country.

Muhammad Azam Khan lauded the role of minority communities in the development and prosperity of the country.

He directed IGP to make special arrangements for security in residential and business areas of the Sikh community.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister gave compensation cheques to the heirs of slain Manmohan Singh and injured Trilok Singh.
