All Parties Hurriyat Conference has reiterated its resolve to keep treading the path of iconic leader, Syed Ali Gilani, till freedom from India is achieved.

Voice Chairman of the forum, Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar in a statement in Srinagar said, Syed Ali Gilani was not just a personality but an institution whose legacy will continue to guide and inspire the Kashmiris.

He reiterated the call for a march towards the grave of the veteran leader in Hyderpora area of Srinagar on Friday as a mark of respect to the beloved leader.

APHC leaders including Syed Bashir Andrabi, Khawaja Firdous, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, Muhammad Yasin Attai and Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party in their statements issued in Srinagar said today every Kashmiri has become Gilani and is carrying forward his freedom mission.

Meanwhile, despite door-to-door hunt by Indian police, posters reading with “Hyderpora Challo” slogans have once again appeared in various parts of occupied territory in connection with the second anniversary of the legendary Kashmiri leader Syed Ali Gilani.

Indian troops continued cordon and search operations in Surankote and Mendhar areas of Poonch district. The operations were jointly launched by Indian army and paramilitary forces.

On the other hand, flags of Pakistan were spotted in different areas of Poonch and Rajouri districts in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Indian officials confirmed that the Pakistan national flag was recovered at Middle School Sarula in Poonch district.
