Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh retired justice Maqbool Baqar has determined to improve the education system in the province.

Chairing a meeting of the school education department in Karachi today, he directed to improve the system of appointments of the teachers to raise the quality of education.

He directed to remove the services of those teachers who are absent from the schools for over one year.

The meeting was informed that 25000 teachers have been selected for appointment through Institute of Business Administration (IBA) but their appointments have been halted due an election process.

The Caretaker Chief Minister directed the Chief Secretary to contact the election commission to resolve the issue.
