Chairman Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC) Danish A. Lakhani and Director General Paul Wilson called on Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani in Islamabad today.

They discussed matters pertaining to internet development and connectivity in Pakistan and the broader Asia Pacific region especially extending it to remote areas of the country, particularly Balochistan.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman Senate underscored the significance of IT infrastructure development as a fundamental driver for socio-economic development and the empowerment of communities.

The APNIC delegation reaffirmed the commitment to further the internet development and connectivity in Asia Pacific region and assured the Chairman Senate to collaborate with the government to achieve these objectives.
