President Dr. Arif Alvi has emphasized the need of joint efforts to mitigate effects of global warming and climate change.
Speaking at a Climate Change Conference in Karachi on Saturday, the President said the human race is responsible for the change in the climate and global warming. He emphasized that attitudes need to be changed.
He said we have used the world’s resources for centuries without thinking of consequences but now is the time that we take the matter seriously and stop the wastage of these resources.
He said we need to think about alternate measures to decrease the wastage at all costs.
