The Resident Representative of United Nations Development Programme Samuel Rizk visited the Headquarters of Intellectual Property Organization Pakistan in Islamabad today and met with its chairman Farukh Amil.

During the meeting, the two sides noted that intellectual property is critical in protecting innovation, creative work, and unique products.

They also reviewed various aspects of Intellectual property Rights, including copyrights, patents and Geographic Indications.

The two sides discussed matters of mutual interest in exploring collaboration between UNDP and IPO-Pakistan aimed at raising awareness about intellectual property rights fostering innovation in the country.
