Punjab government has decided to formulate country’s first Climate Change Action Plan and Punjab Climate Change Policy to control environmental pollution.

Chairing a meeting in Lahore today, Punjab’s Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said roles of stakeholders related to the environment will be defined in Climate Change Action Plan and Punjab Climate Change Policy.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said development projects worth one hundred billion rupees related to environmental improvement are being executed in the province.
