Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today inaugurated several initiatives for youth, including Commonwealth Asia Youth Alliance Secretariat, Digital Learning Portal, AI for Youth Programme, Smart Youth Smart Pakistan, and National Volunteer Corps.
He inaugurated these initiatives at a ceremony in Islamabad today.
The Commonwealth Secretariat and Intel Corporation have collaborated for the introduction to AI for self-paced modules, including AI Introduction, AI Ethics, AI project cycle and no-code approaches. Similarly, one million tabs and smartphones will be given to talented students of intermediate level on merit.
The Prime Minister also launched the nationwide registration for the National Volunteer Corps, becoming the first volunteer of this initiative.
Speaking on the occasion, Shehbaz Sharif expressed the determination to make available all possible resources for the country’s youth, enabling them to make Pakistan a developed and prosperous country.
He expressed confidence that Pakistan’s youth has the potential to steer the country towards progress and development.
Responding to a point raised by the captain of the National Hockey Team, the Prime Minister said no stone will be left unturned to revive the national sports in the country.
Shehbaz Sharif, on the occasion, also distributed Prime Minister Youth Awards among young entrepreneurs.
