The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly adopted a unanimous resolution at its session today to express solidarity with Kashmiri brethren on the occasion of Black Day.

The joint resolution, presented in the House by the Law Minister Aftab Alam, demanded the United Nations to take notice of the grave human rights violations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

The resolution demanded to restore the special status of the Kashmir state and grant right to self-determination to the Kashmiris.

It also urged the international community to play a role for settlement of the Kashmir dispute as per UN resolutions.
