After winning the presidential election, Donald Trump delivered a victory speech in Florida, where he pledged to end ongoing wars and avoid starting new conflicts. He emphasized that America was on the verge of a new era and that his administration would address the country’s challenges.
In his address, Trump declared, “Today, we have made history. America will reach new heights, and we will begin the work of fixing the nation’s issues.” He further stated that the American people had never witnessed such a political victory, calling it unprecedented.
Trump promised to make America “safe, strong, and prosperous,” and vowed to “make America great again.” He predicted that a “golden age” was about to begin for the country. He also expressed confidence in his continued success, saying he would secure victories in the remaining swing states, ultimately obtaining 315 electoral votes. He thanked his supporters, saying, “This success would not have been possible without your vote.”
The president-elect also made it clear that he would not engage in any new wars, but would instead work to bring an end to current conflicts.
According to the results of the presidential election, Trump has won 277 of the 538 electoral votes, surpassing the 270 required to secure the presidency. Vice President Kamala Harris, his opponent, won 226 electoral votes. Trump also triumphed in 27 states, while Harris won 19.
In the race for the House of Representatives, Republicans have secured 188 seats, while Democrats have won 160 seats so far.
