
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has expressed government’s commitment to provide all facilities to workers.
In a statement on Sunday, she said that the doors of top educational institutions are being opened for the children of every worker in Punjab.
Meanwhile, Punjab Workers Welfare Fund has invited applications from workers.
Under this initiative, the children of industrial and mines workers will be awarded admission in seven campuses of the COMSATS University and the fee will be paid by Punjab government.
Registered workers can submit applications at the Islamabad campus by July 9, Lahore campus by July 17, Wah Cantt and Abbottabad campuses by August 4, Vehari and Attock campuses by August 11 and Sahiwal campus by August 15.
