
Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said Pakistan aims to position itself as a key player in the international space economy.
Speaking on the occasion of launch of Remote Sensing Satellite from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in China, he said we envisage to develop a strong space industry ecosystem that contributes to economic growth and innovation.
The Minister for Planning said that the launch of remote sensing satellite is not just a technological milestone but also elevates our friendship with China higher than the skies.
Ahsan Iqbal said Pakistan will further expand its satellite constellation for comprehensive Earth observation, invest in space and STEM education to empower the youth and launch joint space missions with China culminating in a Pakistani spacecraft on the Moon by 2035.
