Pakistan and Oman have agreed to improve bilateral engagement to further strengthen bilateral ties.

The understanding was reached during a meeting between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Oman’s Royal Minister General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani in Muscat today.

During the meeting, both sides discussed bilateral relations and measures to resolve visa-related issues faced by Pakistani nationals.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi noted that millions of Pakistanis are working in Oman and contributing to its economic development. He said easing visa processes would enable more skilled Pakistani workers to find employment opportunities in Oman.

Mohsin Naqvi said Pakistan aims to expand partnership with Oman at all levels.

In his remarks, Omani Royal Minister General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani reaffirmed that Pakistan and Oman enjoy a historic and brotherly relationship.

The two leaders also exchanged views on the overall regional situation and underlined the importance of improving bilateral engagement to further strengthen ties between the two brotherly countries.
