Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif says Pakistan endeavors to provide best possible facilities to Sikh pilgrims.     

He was talking to President of a US based Sikh community organization Jasdeep Singh who called on him in Islamabad today.    

The Prime Minister said Pakistan is home to many holy sites of Sikh religion where the Sikh community from all over the world comes to perform their rituals. He said it is an honour for us to facilitate them in this regard.

He said a comprehensive strategy will be devised for welfare of Sikh community living in Pakistan and facilitating Sikh pilgrims from all over the world.

The Prime Minister said overseas Pakistanis play an important role in the development and prosperity of the country.

On the occasion, Jasdeep Singh thanked the Prime Minister and Government of Pakistan for hosting him in Pakistan and for the hospitality extended to the Sikh pilgrims.

Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazir Tarar and Pakistani-American businessman Sajid Tarar were also present on the occasion.
