
Pakistan and Türkiye have expressed commitment to deepening bilateral trade, industrial collaboration and building long-term strategic partnerships between Pakistan and Türkiye.
The commitment was expressed during a meeting between Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan and a delegation from Türkiye’s Bursa Chamber in Islamabad today.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister for Communications said historic ties between the two brotherly nations continue to strengthen across multiple sectors.
He said Pakistan and Türkiye have always stood by each other in difficult moments and cooperation in defence and communications continues to hold strategic importance.
The delegation expressed hope that Türkiye’s leading financial institution, Ziraat Bank, is allowed to open a branch in Pakistan to bolster bilateral trade and investment.
The two sides held discussions on expanding cooperation in Defence, Communications, Aerospace, Food, Automobile and Manufacturing sectors.
