Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has conducted a draw for seven hundred and twenty newly constructed apartments for industrial workers by pushing a button.

Addressing the ceremony in Lahore today, she directed that widows of deceased workers and persons with disabilities should be accommodated separately from the general balloting process and be allotted apartments upon application, without going through the draw.

The Chief Minister also directed that a bachelor hostel for seven hundred workers at the Quaid-e-Azam Business Park in Sheikhupura be completed within three months.
