Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme Senator Rubina Khalid has announced an increase in stipend amounts ahead of Ramzan, offering significant financial relief to ten million beneficiary families across the country.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with APP today, she said the Benazir Kafalat quarterly stipend will be raised from thirteen thousand five hundred rupees to fourteen thousand five hundred rupees with the enhanced payment to be disbursed during the month of Ramzan.
The Chairperson said an additional increase of five hundred rupees has also been approved for the Benazir Education Stipends programme.
A similar increase of five hundred rupees has been approved for the Benazir Nashonuma programme, which supports pregnant women and lactating mothers through nutritional supplements and financial assistance.
