
A Collaborating Centre Agreement has been signed between the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Oncology (INMOL), Lahore, and the International Atomic Energy Agency.
The agreement was signed by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi in Austria, on the sidelines of a special event at the United Nations Office in Vienna.
The Director General presented a plaque designating INMOL as an IAEA Collaborating Centre.
The ceremony was witnessed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar also signed the “UNODC Country Programme for Pakistan (PAKCP4)” with Acting Executive Director John Brandolino.
The ceremony, witnessed by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, marked an important step in strengthening Pakistan’s partnership with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.
Ishaq Dar signed the “UNIDO Programme for Country Partnership Pakistan 2026-2030” with Deputy Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization Yuko Yasunaga, at the United Nations Office in Vienna.
Witnessed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the agreement reinforces Pakistan’s strong engagement with UNIDO and the broader UN system.
