Punjab CM announces special measures to control inflation during Ramadan

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced special measures to control inflation during the holy month of Ramadan.

Chairing a meeting in Lahore on the Nigehban Ramadan Programme, she directed district administrations to ensure maximum relief for the public across the province.

The Chief Minister said Ramadan Cards are being issued to over four million families and the distribution process has already started.

She said so far, around 450,000 cards have been distributed. Each card carries financial assistance of ten thousand rupees.

Maryam Nawaz added that Sahulat Bazaars and Ramadan Bazaars are now fully operational in all cities of Punjab to facilitate citizens.

She warned that strict action will be taken against profiteers and hoarders during Ramadan.
