Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sargodha, Muhammad Shehzad Asif Khan, visited Police Station Bhangi Khel and the interprovincial border check post at Shakardara along with DPO Mianwali Waqar Azeem Kharral, as well as officials from the Regional Office of CTD (RO CTD) and District Office CTD (DO CTD).
During the visit, the RPO reviewed border security arrangements, the checking process, deployment of personnel, alert duty status, and monitoring of entry and exit points. In view of the prevailing national situation, he directed officers to maintain high alert security, ensure comprehensive checking of suspicious individuals and vehicles, enhance effective snap checking, and further activate intelligence-based operations.
Later, the RPO also visited Police Station Shakardara in District Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where he met with the concerned SHO. Considering the interprovincial border status of both districts, emphasis was laid on strengthening mutual coordination, conducting joint patrolling, ensuring timely exchange of information, and guaranteeing an immediate response in emergency situations.
On the occasion, the RPO Sargodha stated that security at interprovincial borders is being made more effective and well-coordinated, and the protection of the lives and property of the public will be ensured at all costs.
