In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyat Conference has denounced Indian judiciary for being in cahoots with the Modi regime in denying justice to Hurriyat leaders and activists languishing in Indian jails without any crime.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said the thing like independent judiciary no longer exists in present-day India.

He said this while responding to the dismissal by a Delhi court of bail applications filed by senior APHC leaders Nayeem Ahmad Khan and women leaders Aasiya Andrabi and Fehmeeda Sofi.

The spokesman demanded immediate release of all jailed Hurriyat leaders and activists including Masarrat Alam Butt, Muhammad Yasin Malik and Shabbir Ahmad Shah.

Meanwhile, Indian troops launched a cordon and search operation at Sopore town in the Baramulla.

Continuing with its settler colonial project, the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir admin has allotted additional 20 kanals of land adjacent to 93 kanals of land already allocated at Zewan in Srinagar in the name of building transit accommodations for Pandit employees. However, such settlements are meant to provide quarters to Hindus brought from India to permanently live in the occupied territory with an aim to convert its Muslim majority status into a minority.
