Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani says Pakistan is keen to establish broad-based productive and sustainable ties with central Asian states under “Vision Central Asia Policy”.

He was talking to Chairman of Kazakhstan’s Mazhilis of the Parliament, Koshanov Yerlan Zhakanovich and members of his entourage in Islamabad.

The Chairman Senate said Pakistan can provide access to the central Asian states through Karachi and Gwadar ports.

He said Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with Kazakhstan and desires to further diversify the already fraternal ties.

Sadiq Sanjrani said joint projects can be be initiated in energy, agriculture, IT, textile, logistics, housing and construction sectors.

Speaking on the occasion, Koshanov Yerlan said Pakistan is an important country in the region and bilateral cooperation between the two countries would bring more innovation and diversification in relations.
