In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, India’s dreaded National Investigation Agency has raided several houses in Srinagar, Pulwama, Islamabad, Kulgam, Baramulla, Jammu and Poonch districts.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the sleuths of NIA along with the Indian Central Reserve Police Force raided the houses of Hurriyat leaders and activists including Yasmeen Raja and terrorized the inmates.

The APHC leadership in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the Kashmiri people are facing the worst atrocities at the hands of Indian army and police.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Army Chief, General Syed Asim Munir’s recent statement, which he gave during his address at Pakistan Military Academy, Kakul, on Kashmir continues to receive applause from across the Line of Control.

APHC leaders including Syed Bashir Andrabi, Khawaja Firdous, Ghulam Nabi War, Zamruda Habib, Jameel Mir and Merajuddin Sheikh in their statements in Srinagar said the Army Chief’s speech has infused a new spirit in the ongoing freedom movement in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The leaders urged the international community to play its role in realization of the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination.

Religious leaders during a function in Badgam demanded immediate release of senior APHC leader and the Chairman of Muttahida Majlis-e-Ulema, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq. The Mirwaiz has been under continued house detention since August 2019.
